Change Your World in 52 Days is a series and challenge at C3 during the 52 days leading up to Easter. During this time, we will be looking at the story of Nehemiah organizing the rebuilding of the wall in Jerusalem in just 52 days. Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem prayed, worked, and worship to see God change their world. During the 52 days leading up to Easter, C3 will pray, work, and worship to see God do amazing things in our community.

Pray

 

"For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven." - Nehemiah 1:3

 

During the 52 days leading up to Easter, we are asking all C3ers to join us in a daily devotional and prayer. This can be done by subscribing to Cross Training (see Change Your World Links) and receiving a daily email with the Nehemiah 52 day devotional along with a daily prayer request. Pick a consistent time each morning (maybe even :52 on the hour each day) and pray through the request.

 

Work

 

"So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart." - Nehemiah 4:6

 

We are also asking EVERYONE to get their hands dirty. We have several amazing opportunities to make the Tri-State a little brighter...actually, we have an opportunity every single week for you to help! We are challenging every C3er to volunteer for at least one of the following outreaches (or join us for all of them!):

 

 

Worship

 

"And on that day they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away." - Nehemiah 12:43

 

We have already started praying for God to some miraculous things at C3 building up to Easter. On Easter Sunday, we are planning a huge celebration that morning and you can help. Simply start praying now for 2-5 people that you know do not currently attend a church. Ask God to give you the opportunity (and courage) to invite them on Easter morning. We are praying that God will bring us over 520 in attendance that day! Change Your World in 52 Days is about to take over Crosstraining

 

From Friday, February 17th to Sunday, April 8th, Change Your World in 52 Days will be taking over Crosstraining. For the 52 days leading up to Easter, we will be reading through the book of Nehemiah as he organized the rebuilding of the walls in Jerusalem. Each day, we will have a short Bible reading, a quick devotional, an action step, and a prayer for that day.
